As one of the first certified makeup artists on PEI back in 2003, Savannah quickly established her freelance makeup business and built a strong reputation within the local film, music, commercial, fashion, and wedding industries as the ‘go-to’ makeup artist.
A passionate entrepreneur and self-admitted over-achiever, she had managed multiple businesses for over a decade before her body started to feel the wear and tear of what she suspected to be adrenal fatigue. As Savannah’s health began to decline, she was forced to step back from her workaholic ways and start taking better care of her body, mind, and spirit. With an interest in nutrition and previously having worked at a health food store owned by naturopaths, Savannah did a deep-dive into clean living and sustainable solutions for her home and the environment - this included her cosmetics and skin care products.
After learning more about the toxic ingredients in conventional makeup, the switch to organic and natural products was an easy decision.
Jacqueline began working in the cosmetics industry in her early teens - starting at cosmetic counters, and eventually deciding to attend La Salle College in Montreal to become a certified makeup artist.
Specializing in fashion, film, photography, and bridal makeup, her business began to grow, and she became increasingly aware of how many products she was coming into contact with every single day. From makeup and skincare products to household cleaners, she started mentally tallying up the chemicals she was constantly surrounded by - not to mention the amount of garbage she was producing from tossing out plastic packaging and leftover product past its expiration date.
She became even more passionate about the impact of the beauty industry and her own business during her travels through New Zealand and south-east Asia, falling in love with the planet’s pristine beauty. Jacqueline is extremely passionate about educating consumers about the harmful effects of conventional cosmetics, and is proud to provide natural and sustainable alternatives.
